About Fostering

Fostering offers children and young people a safe, stable and caring family home when they cannot live with their birth families anymore.

The local authority work with the family to resolve the situation, and when this doesn’t work… fostering can become full time care for children.

Fostering is an option until the child is able to return to their families (Short Term Fostering), in some cases this is not an option.

Fostering a child or children can be a very rewarding process. It is a life choice that can really make a difference to a child’s life.

There are three basic requirements needed for Fostering. You must be 21 years of age, Have a spare bedroom and Be in Good Health
