About Fostering
Fostering offers children and young people a safe, stable and caring family home when they cannot live with their birth families anymore.
It can offer children and young people a safe and caring environment, while they are unable to live with their family and while the local authority works with the family to resolve the situation.
What is Foster Care
Fostering is an option until the child is able to return to their families (Short Term Fostering), in some cases this is not an option.
Why Foster
Fostering a child or children can be a very rewarding process. It is a life choice that can really make a difference to a child’s life.
Who can foster
There are three basic requirements needed for Fostering. You must be 21 years of age, Have a spare bedroom and Be in Good Health
